14 years. ♡ People either find that very cute or very weird (or pretend to think it’s cute but actually find it weird). Well I’m here to say that this thing we have goin on is both cute AND weird. When you spend this much time side by side, you go through what feels like a series of mini-relationships: that time I dated the band guy in high school, my boyfriend at another college (who wasn’t made up), the long distance bs, the guy I basically lived in a closet with in Vancouver (not Harry Potter), the one who ran up a million stairs. And now my husband. Ups, downs, uppity ups, perfectly imperfect, changing together, and so much laughter. I wouldn’t want it any other way.
