10 years ago, these two dweebs went to New Zealand. They lived in a van and danced around on some beaches and jumped off stuff with varying levels of enthusiasm and wore sweet hats on epic trails. They nearly got stuck there forever when a crafty bird stole their car keys on a mountaintop in a snowstorm. Next month, they return so one of them can write about birds of the less crafty variety. NZ, we’re comin for ya!!!! #tbt
Forever grateful for this practice that’s always there, no matter how much time away I take. • To me, it’s so different from running where time off often leaves me feeling like maybe I’ve never laced up before. • Coming back to yoga is like finally getting to hang with a great friend; it’s like nothing’s changed the second you’re together. • It takes time to rebuild strength and mobility of course, but that home feeling is pretty instantaneous. 🙏✨

Ok maybe I didn’t take this at dawn. And maybe I didn’t realize it was my 5-year NP anniversary until noon. Grad school is tough & unpredictable, so I have to find time to move on a very different schedule. But I snuck in 5 miles + 5 sections to celebrate 5 years and all of the early-morning joy & amazing friendships NP has given me. Now, time for family. #grateful
